Malcolm Edge, Chairman NWBF Malcolm was one of two Vice Chairmen of KPMG in the UK based in Manchester. Malcolm has various management roles within KPMG and also sat on its UK and European Boards and was a member of those Boards remuneration committees. In terms of clients, he had a portfolio of clients ranging from listed plc's to smaller entrepreneurial businesses.
Clive Brook A qualified accountant and a former Corporate Finance Partner at PKF in Manchester, Clive had previously worked for 3i plc. He has been heavily involved in both the establishment of NWBF and previous public sector venture capital funds.
Rory Earley CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Capital for Enterprise. Prior to this appointment he spent 4 years advising the UK Government on the development and implementation of its venture capital programmes. Previously he was Senior Investment Manager at Westport Private Equity Ltd, designing and investing in venture capital funds around the world. Rory has been responsible for developing and implementing the UK Government's first interventions in venture capital funds in the 1990s. He has been Chair of, and investor in a successful University spinout company, chair of an EU expert group on risk capital, member of the Investment Task Force advising UK Government and was until recently also a Director of Greece's first venture capital investment company (TANEO)
Michael Prince A qualified solicitor, working for companies such as 3i plc and DLA Piper, Michael currently holds non-executive and advisory positions at Solerox Ltd and Liverpool Chamber of Commerce. Previous appointments include Chairman of David McLean Group Ltd and Non-Executive Director of MTL Services PLC.

Andrew Graham Andrew is Chief Operating Officer of the British Venture Capital Association. Before this, Andrew worked at Bank of America, ABN AMRO's, was previously European CFO for Bankers Trust and also held senior roles at Deutsche Bank.
Anthea Harrison Anthea was an Investment Director with NESTA, responsible for its £50 million seed investment fund. Prior to this Anthea had a long career with Deutsche Morgan Grenfall, Chemical Bank, Charterhouse and Lloyds Development Capital (LDC). Anthea also ran her own Corporate Advisory business.
Brenda Smith Brenda is formerly the Managing Director of Granada Television and a Board member of NWDA. With a career in media, Brenda is the IAP member with specific focus on the digital and creative priority sector.

Hazel Moore Hazel has been Chairman and co-founder of First Capital Corporation since 1999. In 2005 Hazel led a successful initiative to develop a new line of business in venture capital fund management called FirstVentures. Hazel is the IAP member with specific focus on the energy & environment priority sector.
John Nicholson John has extensive experience of the chemical and pharmaceutical industries and the management of early stage technology businesses. He is currently Chairman and CEO of Gentronix Ltd. John is the IAP member with specific focus on the biomedical priority sector.
